Inert Welding Gasses
Welding gas is stored outside the building in a cage on the east side. Information for using the gas is here in hon1nbo's post on Talk.
Bottles are currently available for remote welding.
TIG Welding
The Dynasty and Synchrowave use a 'type 9 / 20' torch head, so you need consumables that fit that head type. In general the torches are equiped with a gas lens setup and #7 cup, but it is recommend you provide your own consumables and tungsten.
Local welding shops can provide them if you tell them what type of torch head we use.
In addition, there are multiple online sources:
MIG Welding
MIG Wire is provided, charged at a rate of $1 per 3 minutes of welding.

- The 'Space does NOT currently have access to an Oxy-Acetylene rig for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to lack of insurability for storing pressurised combustible gases inside the workspace.
