Author's note: This is a subjective, non-sequential, somewhat less than exhaustive summary of the meeting from the perspective of one individual in attendance.

Griggs will write up legalese Liable for lock Up to 3 bins located variously, assess for future viability Cube walls for odd/short-term storage Woodshop will take up vertical storage Workshop is a mess because of transition Drying racks w/ 24-hour under table - infra will provide IT solution Willing to enforce rules and assess as time goes on Will assign extensions based on need Do not want to offsite - would rather call than move Have talked to everyone about what they want - main conern is odd shaped items Up to 2400 slots in racks Kathy (PureTax) will be tasked with administration David ~$1/sqft/month Estimating 5-6x over actual cost Initial $10 for bins? Storage Agreement will be worked by Griggs, termas will inclue expiry/breach terms that transfer title Year period chosen for convenience of admin Stan 308 bins inbound Monday Pearce Only seen BoD agenda item - no other documents Is replacing workshop project storage? Kris: Yes Concerned that new storage plan will be troublesome for bigger things, non-enforcement of rules Will consistently enforce rules Do not want to add new rules Merissa Brandon will enforce rules Have helped on project storage in the past, few volunteers Admin sounds like it will be troublesome Complaints about little bins Alex Storage was always meant to be short term, temporary Not intended to support business usage We are now some ways from where we were meant to be We should aim for 80% satisfaction Jim Concern about metal storage - bins not sufficient Believe that bins will make for easier enforcement Brian Noticed that the place looks awful after some absence No storage available because of lack of enforcement All tables are full No place to work on projects because of storage overflow Cairren Have been trying to find a place in storage for 4 months Only accessible storage is overhead - thus no favoritism More users, need new rules Freddy How yot motivate volunteers? Kris: need to ask people straight to their face to get results - specific time/outcomes Pearce: extensions more likely to be offered based on volunteerism Merissa: Enforce rules and set example as chair How to deal with lack of volunteerism - been to 3/4 meetings which were just Kris/Axie Pearce: Until volunteers needing extensions step up, will seek friends and other willing members to get the work done that needs to be done Kris: Much of the housekeeping presently being done by Cintas. Concerned about non-memner volunteers doing work. Cairren: catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Fear does not motivate. Respect, seeking input more likely to inspire volunteerism. History of disrespect to the members. Merissa: important to respect the rules of the space Kris: Need to educate people - have used humor previously, but need to keep at it.
